Floor plans are scaled diagrams that show the layout of a building. They illustrate the arrangement of rooms, they include the location of active devices within the building. This provides a visual representation of where the operational devices are located within the building.

How to add a floor plan

• Look for “Locations” on the left menu below organization.

  

• Navigate to “Floor plan” tab.

  

• Click on the upload button or drop the image of your floor plan on the gray zone. You will be prompted to select a file from your computer. Choose the floor plan file you wish to upload. Only image files are accepted, such as JPEG and PNG. If you have a PDF, you can either take a screenshot and upload it as an image or use an online converter tool to save the document as an image file.

  

• You can now start dragging and dropping the device (blue dots on left menu) below to the floor plan

  

• After uploading the required devices, click on a device in the assigned table that you want to locate, and it will be highlighted in blue on the floor plan
