Alerts helps you stay informed about critical conditions within your collection climate by providing timely notifications based on predefined rules.
To manage alerts, click Alerts in the main menu on the left. This will bring you to the Alerts page that is linked to the current project.
The Alerts page header has two sections: Notifications and Rules
Notifications are messages you receive when the system detects conditions that match your predefined alert rules. Notifications ensure you remain aware of any climate irregularities and can take swift action.
Notifications can be delivered as in-software alerts, but also directly via email or SMS.
By clicking on the Settings button in the header at the top right of the page, you can edit the notification settings on a project level (for everyone that is a member of the project) and on a personal level (only affecting you). The notification settings include the alert cascade, the option to pause notifications, and how you prefer to be notified.
Let’s go through the different elements one by one.
The Alerts Module is designed to ensure timely, relevant notifications without overwhelming you or your team, allowing you to proactively maintain optimal collection conditions.
Alert cascades allow team-based notification management. You can define an ordered list of team members who will be notified sequentially.
Configure who gets notified and when, by adding members to the list and adjusting the time interval that the system waits between cascade notifications.
